LIV Sotheby’s International Realty Welcomes Experienced Grand County Broker, Brenda Freeman

LIV Sotheby’s International Realty (LIV SIR) is excited to announce the latest addition to the Winter Park office, Brenda Freeman. Joining LIV SIR with a 15-year career in real estate, Freeman considers herself an expert ‘matchmaker’ by putting the right house and the right people together.

Freeman’s first role in the real estate industry was working in short-term rental property management, which gave her insight into the second home/rental market that is now a critical piece of her real estate success in Grand County. She specializes in the Grand Lake area, having extensive experience over the last 15 years from Winter Park to Grand Lake. Driven by her passion for the area, Freeman will now primarily focus along the Highway 34 corridor also known as the Three Lakes Area.

Before starting her real estate career, Freeman worked as an account manager at McKesson Corporation. It was there that she finessed her networking skills and making connections, which she has now found is her favorite part of working in real estate.

“I enjoy helping my clients find ‘their place’ in our community. Like many buyers in this area, I am also a tourist turned local,” says Freeman. “There are so many wonderful areas to live in Grand County, so a lot of times my clients think they want to live in Winter Park, but they see Grand Lake and it takes their breath away – so my goal is to educate them. I love expanding horizons and showing the benefits they didn’t recognize.”

Freeman knows better than most how an area can really draw you in and have a particular ‘calling’. She first started visiting Grand Lake while in college and her route home included a drive past a certain meadow full of beautiful yellow daisies and horses. “It just warmed my heart every time,” Freeman adds. That view developed into a future for her, as she met her husband in Grand Lake and they ended up buying a house down the road from that very meadow.

Working to make sure her clients have that same magical feeling, Freeman is an expert with all there is to know about Grand County. She is plugged into the offerings of the local school districts and is happy to share that insight with her clients as they make important decisions that impact their future. Her children have been raised in the area and have actually participated in the Winter Park Competition Center.

“The Winter Park Competition Center is an amazing amenity and opportunity for families looking to truly live the Winter Park lifestyle,” says Freeman.

“Brenda brings an enthusiastic energy that we are thrilled to have in the Winter Park office,” shares Aaron Shriner, vice president, managing broker of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty’s Summit County offices. “Her commitment to finding her clients the right home, combined with her passion for the industry is extremely authentic and position her a level above the rest.”
